I'm a crafter, and the wonderful women who threw me an incredible baby shower wanted to reflect that in the party in January. I've seen several alphabet walls on Pinterest {
here and
here, for example} and thought it was a cool idea, but the idea of decorating 26 letters for my own alphabet wall was a bit daunting. Thus, the alphabet craft corner idea was born. AND it was such a baby shower hit!!
First, we chose letters. I loved the variety of fonts and sizes of
these - the craftsmanship is impressive!
Teacher to my core, I created inspiration pages that were posted near the craft station. Supplies (in a limited and appropriate color selection) were provided for crafty ladies to go crazy.

To hang the alphabet wall, I used as many Command Picture Hangers as possible to minimize nail holes. Due to some of the embellishments used, command strips were not always possible and in that case, nails were used.

Ta Da! The finished alphabet wall.
Full disclosure: some letters needed some alteration in order to make a cohesive wall display, but fixing 9 letters is much more manageable than 26! Thanks for your help, girls :) |
