Homemade Toddler Toys

In an attempt to be the most prepared possible for our two week traveling adventure with a 15-month-old, here are some toys that I made.  I'm happy to say that it was time well spent!

Toy #1: Pipe Cleaners in a Spice Container
For toddlers who like to collect and contain things.

This toy got the most mileage!  Here, Luke collects his pipe cleaners while we enjoyed dinner at a Berlin biergarten.
Toy #2: Foam Sensory Book
For toddlers who like to turn pages and touch different textures.

Foam pages, binder rings, and free samples from Home Depot
Rough car ride for Luke.  The sensory book was a very welcome distraction!

Toy #3: Peek-A-Boo Toy
For toddlers who like to open and close lids and see familiar faces.

A shoe box lid and the lids from baby wipe packages
