One of my favorite Pinterest boards is called "I'm Organizationally Challenged". Why, you ask? Because ohmygoodnessitissotrue! I'm the creative sibling - the dancing and organization genes skipped this girl. I'd rather ignore the clutter than figure out a workable system to solve the issue. So, when I identify a problem and wrap my mind around - and execute - a solution, it's a win! Such is the case with my sacred coat closet. Since the casa is lacking in storage space, we try to find the smartest options possible for stowing things (it is amazing how many counter top appliances are "required," and yet, not enough counter surface area to house such appliances...off to the closet they go!) At any rate, the coat closet is utilized as the catch all spot to hide random things from the kitchen (that we use once a year), the home improvement leftovers (that we hid before guests arrived one time - we were too frantic to run the paint down to the basement), the door hangings (I'm guilty of trying my hand at more than one obscurely-shaped DIY wreath decor), among other things. It had to change - the closet had taken on a personality of its own that could potentially be unleashed each time the closet door opened. So, after a couple of therapeutic hours on Pinterest, a few laps around my house to find re-purpose-able things, some quality time in the home organization section of Target, I collected shoe racks, wire hangers, plastic bins, baskets, and a unique version of a label maker (dry erase marker handwritten labels...classy). All in, it cost about $30 (the shoe racks were on sale --> :) )

And now to tackle the other "cootie corners" of my house...
