Luke's Nursery Tour

I wrote a bit about Luke's nursery here, here, and here...I wanted to share the finished product!  I love spending time with Luke in his nursery and it is amazing to watch him notice different things as he gets older.

The dresser we use as the changing table is steeped in family history.  It has been well loved for generations!

Luke loves looking up at his alphabet wall.  In recent weeks, he's started reaching out to touch the X (and thus, it has fallen behind the changing table on countless occasions).

I love the clean simplicity of Pottery Barn Kids Brooks bedding (ironic, huh?).  The world map complements the whimsical nature of the nursery.  We hope to inspire a little adventurer! (Side note: the etsy shop I worked with for the world map was amazing!  I sent her a scanned image of our nursery colors and she customized the map just for Luke!)

Repurposed baby shower decor

Luke on his one month birthday.  The recliner is from my late grandfather, for whom Luke is named (his middle name).  The perfect safari lamp was rescued from a friend's Goodwill pile!

our DIY mobile - it now hangs above his crib

So many clothes!  It is a shame that babies don't wear their clothes for longer - so cute!  These free printables were very helpful in organizing all of the tiny different sizes.

Some of Luke's incredible library!
